Jazmil Genao joined Seeds in 2016 and has grown steadily as an Intern, an Associate, and a Manager. She is an advocate for educational equity and economic justice for vulnerable communities.

Born in the Dominican Republic, Jazmil immigrated to the U.S. when she was eight years old. Her life is a testament to the transformative power of investing in educational development; she is the first college graduate in her family. Jazmil holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Spanish, and a Master of Science in Global Affairs from New York University.
