Atti Worku established and led Seeds of Africa as CEO from 2008 to 2021, growing our organization from an afterschool program to a full-time school and micro-finance institution for women small business entrepreneurs.

Atti’s essay on girls’ education as a global climate change solution was published in the book Why Women Will Save the Planet. She was named one of the Most Influential People of African Descent class of 2019, and is a Women’s Forum Rising Talents Initiative 2020 nominee. Atti graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Sustainable Development from Columbia University.
